About
Roger Bansemer - born in Stoughton,
Massachusetts but has lived
in Clearwater, Florida since
1957. A graduate of the Ringling
School of Art in Sarasota Florida,
Roger is an artist and author
of six books. His 30 foot circular,
abstract mural was a landmark
in Clearwater for many years.
Another of Bansemer’s
murals, a 100 foot high hot-air
balloon painting, is on a Clearwater
Beach hotel and can be seen
when driving west across Memorial
Causeway. His nautical paintings
have found recognition in such
places as the Mystic Maritime
Museum in Mystic, Conn. where
he has won awards of excellence
from the museum given by William
Buckley at the International
Invitational Maritime Exhibition.
